So, I may not reach my Summer Camp goal this year, BUT that has come from finishing a short novel! I'll post the link first, and the descriptor afterwards!
You can download it here on the Storytellers Vault for free, or throw some bones my way if you feel so inclined! Reviews are also very valuable and important to me!
Washington Wilds: No Longer Human is a tight novelette set in the World of Darkness, yet requires no pre-existing knowledge to read and appreciate! Set in the real life small town of Ilwaco, Washington, it focuses on Emory Forest, a young woman living a compounding life of grief, but the latest tragedy has come not at the hands of fate, but a monster. No one believes her, however, until the mysterious "state patrol officer" Euhodia Thetis, comes to town.
No Longer Human is a story of grief, paranoia, monstrous horror, and a touch of supernatural action and a sprinkle of sapphic romance, for flavor. If any of that sounds up your alley, give it a shot! Again, it's free so even if you're uncertain, you don't gotta pay!
Sorry for plugging an advertisement during the event, but this is just the first excited step of many to come, for my World of Darkness urban horror AND Edda fiction! Thanks for reading, and I hope I've grabbed at least a few of you~!

Sweet, sweet vacation in the rocky Tatra mountains... I managed to get some rest and go on an adventure or two. It was my first time climbing the Świnica (2302 m a.s.l.) while passing by numerous crystal clear colourful lakes. Several days later, however, me and my partner decided to finish the trip strong and climb one of the Red Peaks. Never before had I the pleasure to be almost swept by the tumultous winds. Well I was, in the Lowlands, close home, but never high in the mountains with half a day to go, cold to the bone and having difficulty standing. It later turned out that after descending the first peak we had to climb another one to get down, which was a blast. The number of ideas I got for future stories... the adrenaline that will make for a wonderful tab in the memory... superb.
#Spooktober is here and as in the last year I plan on writing a handful of poems. In line with the theme I will prepare for #novelember with my spooky short story. The preparations began in spring, so I have a good deal of chunks to bounce from.
The past isn't the only thing that won't stay dead. Hiding from his violent history as a revered Void necromancer within the Sparnell Confederation, single father Shane Lawrence has finally built a quiet life. On the freehold planet of Baden he can pour his energy into the only thing that now matters: the safety and upbringing of his precocious son, Jake. All too soon, the Confederation targets Baden for annexation, confronting Shane once more with his treasonous past. Worse, the invading force is led by none other than Shane's manipulative former mentor, Admiral Kydell. Shane's every instinct screams to run, to hide Jake even further from Sparnell – but Baden is home. This time he could choose to make a stand and defend the entire planet, not just his son. But that means turning to the very skills he swore he'd leave behind…Final formatting has begun in preparation for publication Novber 17th, which means...
“Under Lunestra’s glow, Dahlia’s petals trembled as the dark wolf approached, bringing the promise of a guardian and a miracle.”
